Hi, I'm Gav! I hope you're having a great day! I'm currently a college student, studying for degrees in both Education and English. I have a ton of experience in childcare, having started babysitting at a young age. I have also worked for 4 years as a mentor for kids in after-school programs, as well as a camp counselor (ages 8-18) for the past 4 years. I also come from a huge family and have many nieces and nephews and little cousins that I am constantly babysitting! My babysitting experience includes everything from changing diapers to having impromptu Frozen "dance parties" to being the mediator of the ever-familiar sibling argument. I love working with kids and think that their voices, and what they have to say, are some of the most important for us to listen to! I am also CPR certified and have studied child development and psychology, both Read more in the U.S. and abroad in other cultures. I LOVE being able to "re-discover" the world through the eyes of children, as well as coming up with creative activities that are fun, educational, and important in letting the child feel heard and seen. When it comes down to it, the most important part of childcare is the safety and well-being of every child, and that's exactly what I'm here to do!
