My name is Kat and I have been a kindergarten - 8th grade teacher for 15 years in the Ohio public and charter school systems. I have taught Art & Art History, STEM/STEAM Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), Technology Integration, Design and Technology, Coding and Programming and Robotics. When I’m not educating youth in the classroom, I’m coaching 3-12 year old children on the sports field. I have been a youth sports coach for 14 years for Skyhawks Sports Academy and i9 Sports. Over the years I have coached soccer, lacrosse, basketball, Tball, golf, volleyball, flag football and cheerleading. I’m trained in infant/children’s first aid, CPR, medication administering, feeding tubes, seizure disorders and diabetes. I have experience dealing with children who have ADD and ADHD and children with mental and physical impairments. I love working with children of all ages from new born to middle school and always have fun educational ideas and sports equipment for children to enjoy while I’m babysitting. I have experience as a nanny for a family with 6 children ages newborn to 12 years. I helped get the children up and ready for school, prepared meals, home schooled the 3, 4, & 5 year old, did dishes, laundry & light house work, and offered homework help. I also drove the children to various sports practice and games, swim lessons, karate lessons, and birthday parties. I have a new car and a perfect driving record, so safely transporting children is not an issue. I've dedicated my life to working with children and I'd be the perfect sitter for any family.
