Currently I am a mother to three children: my step daughter (8), her sister (4), and my son (1). I do ask that anyone I babysit/nanny for allow my son to come along with me as he is not in any daycare or schooling program. My daughters are both in school and we coparent with my husband's ex so they would not need to be with me except on a very rare occasion. My childcare background: I ran the nursery in my church from 2017-2020 primarily alone. I spent three to four hours every Sunday with children from around 4 months old to about 7 years old. Sometimes as few as 2 children, sometimes as many as 8 would be under my care. In addition, I also babysat some on an as-needed basis outside of the church. Like many women, I spent a portion of my youth babysitting the neighbor’s Read more children and my younger cousins. I do have minimal experience with care for the elderly as well, having looked after elderly neighbors and currently, my handicapped parents as well. While I have no formal training on the matters, at my church I did work with a child on the Autism Spectrum, as well as a child with physical and health limitations, who requires a service dog. I also grew up with a younger brother diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, so I do have some general knowledge on how children with Autism can act, and how to help them enjoy the same experiences as children without Autism. I am very comfortable taking care of children with any and all aspects of life, and I love watching them learn and grow. I am also currently working on my Bachelor’s of Science in Education/Elementary Education at Phoenix University..
