Hello everyone, My name is Hannah Guise, I’m 18 years old and a high school graduate of the class of 2020. I’ll be attending Ohio State University in the fall. I am majoring in physical therapy and minoring in American Sign Language Interpreting. I am a certified life guard and water safety instructor by the RedCross. I am competent in American Sign Language. I volunteer for Special Olympics and am prepared to work with any children with disabilities. I have worked with children for 4 years now. I started off in 2016 working at a child care center in a gym. Then I began to babysit on the weekends and have been doing that for about 3.5 years now. I was a lifeguard for 2 summers in 2017 and 2018. In the summer of 2019 I was a camp counselor for youth with medical disabilities and those who reside in Read more the foster care system. Since August 2019 I have nannied a boy with multiple disabilities. I can supply references for all work experience. I believe in teaching kids through challenge by choice. Meaning that they choose the pace at which they try new things. Kids enjoy growth and learning when they’re comfortable and have a feeling of control. I have my own car. I can take kids to sports practice or any activities they may have. Can provide a copy of insurance and license. I look forward to getting to know you and your families!
