My name is Morgan and I hope to help you and your family meet caregiving needs! I have worked full-time as a Certified Child Life Specialist at Cleveland Clinic Children's for 2.5 years in the NICU and pediatric EMU. Due to working 8-5 during the week, and some weekends and holidays, I believe I will be of most help for date night purposes/ weekend needs. As a child life specialist, I work with pediatric patients and their families during their hospital admissions by helping promote a more positive coping experience for children through developmentally appropriate preparation, diagnosis education, teaching effective strategies and helping implement a child’s coping plan to the medical team. Most importantly, I work to help normalize the hospital setting and building rapport with children through play! In pursuing this career, I have had the opportunity to gain many different experiences working with children of all ages from Read more infants to adolescents including previous experiences working for the YMCA, after school programming for a high school, and babysitting for a family during COVID in addition to my clinical experiences in the hospital setting that were required to obtain my certification. With my background in child development and psychology, I feel confident in my abilities to help guide children in their learning and growth both cognitively and emotionally. When I’m not working, I really enjoy, painting, exploring new parks with my fiancé, going to sports games, and spending time with friends and family! I think children I have worked with in the past would describe me as dependable, empathetic, patient, creative, and most importantly; fun!!!
