Just moved into our first home in Crittenden, KY. I have always loved kids & just a few years ago I received my CDA (Child Development Associates). I have worked at two childcare centers. I was a lead teacher in the first one and then an assistant turned into lead teacher at my second one. The age groups I am specialized in are toddlers & infants. That’s what I tend to stick to in a daycare setting but have experience with ages 6weeks to 14 years old (including children with special needs). I’ve always been the family & friends’ babysitter & would babysit kids at my daycare as well!

CPR and First Aid Certified Looking for an opportunity to babysit/nanny. I’ve worked in a nursery for the past five years. Have worked with children and young teens with special needs at summer camp when I was in middle school and high school. I also have two younger brothers who are 12 and 14 years younger than me who I have helped care for since their birth. I am almost 24 years old- the oldest out of five total kids and I grew up taking care of my siblings. I still do take care of them pretty often. I have a little bit of experience working at a daycare in the 2-year-old room. I personally love being around kids and getting to know them and how they work. I have been with four families over the course of 4 years with ages as low as four months old to 15 years old. Each family I have had great experiences and all are willing to be a reference. I have 2 years experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. During both those years I have been babysitting and I have been working in a daycare center for a little over a year. I am CPR certified and trained in first aid. In the past I have helped with homework, prepared meals, done light cleaning, and taken children on outings to places like the park. I have worked with children since the age of 12. I worked for a church where I would help out with all the kids for 1 year. I then would babysit family and friends children’s for many years. I have also worked at a daycare for 6 months. I have many years of experience with kids aged 6 weeks to 10 years old. I am a very outgoing, energetic, playful person. My name is Maddy and I love kids. I’m 21, I have a car and a clean driving record, I never smoke and I love pets. I live in the Mt. Washington area. I enjoy doing nails, hair, baking, cooking, coloring, puzzles, video games, throwing the football, and kicking around a soccer ball. Over the summer I cared for a family with two girls, 6 and 8 years. I made lunch, helped them change their sheets weekly, and do their laundry. I also made dinner for the parents. Right now I am wrapping up a temporary position with a family that has two girls, 2 and 4 years. I make lunch, help the preschooler with her Pre-K workbook, keep the kitchen clean, and do a couple loads of laundry. Sometimes I drive the kids to the park or help with pick-up. I also volunteered at church with middle schoolers for their youth group night. Pre-Covid, I volunteered biweekly with the 3-5yo in Sunday school. I’ve been doing that for the past 3 years. I am happy to help school work. I was actually a volunteer in a kindergarten classroom for the 2017-18 school year. I believe in eating healthy and am happy to help with meals and meal prep. When I am not with your family I will be working on our latest remodel that will be rented out to college students. Together, my dad and I will be painting and managing the job site!
