I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel safe in a nurturing environment. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch kids reach new milestones, build confidence, and express their personalities. I strive to create a balance of fun, structure, and care so children feel supported while parents feel confident knowing their child is in good hands. I have been working at a daycare for the past 8 months, where I care for children ages 0–5. In my role, I create and carry out weekly lesson plans and lead daily activities such as circle time, early writing, arts and crafts, outdoor play, meals, and nap routines. I am experienced in managing transitions, maintaining schedules, and ensuring a clean, organized environment. Before this, I took early childhood development classes in high school, including a preschool program where I independently planned lessons, decorated the classroom, and taught 3–4-year-olds Read more twice a week. I am currently continuing my education in early childhood development to further expand my knowledge and skills. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have strong hands-on experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. My skills include diapering, potty training, sleep scheduling, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am also reliable and have my own transportation, so I can drive children, run errands, and assist with schoolwork when needed. I take pride in being dependable, patient, and attentive, and I always aim to support both children and families in any way I can.
