From a young age I have been a part of a large family. Growing up I always had a lot of younger relatives around to look after. I was passionate about taking care of children from a very young age. I would spend a lot of time helping my godmother with her newborn son when I was 9 years old. I spent years taking care of younger cousins and children in any neighborhood I lived in. As I got older I started to work volunteering with youth such as the summer reading programs at local libraries and at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club watching children there for daycare. I love being able to be helpful to a family and allow access to someone who can help give parents the assistance they need with their children and giving the kids someone they can learn from, look up to, and Read more feel safe with.
