Hello! I am new to becoming a sitter, but my experience is great. I grew up helping care for my special needs brother, who I took care of for a year for my mother. I also have a 19 year old, 8 year old, and 5 year old. The 2 oldest are girls, the youngest a boy. My oldest is a recent cancer survivor, which taught me to be aware of needs for atypical situations. I am often complimented on my kids' great attitude, thoughtful nature, and lovely manners. I believe in great patience while being firm, and have never needed to use physical discipline with my own kids. Now that my youngest is about to go to school, I am looking to get out and work again.
