Hello, My name is Cora Burrows. I was adopted as a baby when I was nine months old from China. A few years later when I was eight to ten, my parents adopted two other girls also from China. When they came, I helped them acclimate to life in America. This helped me learn how to communicate with people who did not speak the same language and gave me compassion for people with different backgrounds. My experience with helping my sisters carried into my teenage years, where my mom cared for newborn babies who were awaiting their finalization of their adoption paperwork. As a young adult I love caring for babies and children. I watch babies and toddles in the nursery at church and at the college that I attend when they have special meetings and conferences. I volunteer to help with the elementary school children's program at my church. I attend culinary school at Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma City where I graduated in May of 2016. This past summer, I was given the opportunity to work at the college that I attend and did housekeeping. I love watching children and babies!
