I was employed with the Federal Reserve Bank for over 10 years until they closed the Oklahoma City Branch. I went back to school to pursue my degree in Network Technology. I went to work in the IT Department at a local Technology Center where I worked for over 5 years. I was recently employed as a part-time Assistance to a home daycare provider. I provided care for 2 infants, 1 toddler, 2 three years old, and 1four year old. I am comfortable working with more than one child at a time. I am a volunteer for the Oklahoma City Public School System. I have been finger printed and have had a background and OSBI check done. We are currently providing several different programs. Our before & after school care program, parents drop off and pickup kids from the church. We provide transportation to/from schools and Mother’s Day Out programs. We love kids and we are very dedicated to the job, dependable, we have lots of patience, and love to have fun with them. We have our Learning Centers: Art, Block, Dramatic Play, Language/Literacy, Quiet, Manipulative, Math, Science/Sensory, Music Movement, and Outdoor Play. We stand out because we work closely with the parents and their needs. The kids really enjoy themselves while they are in our care and aren't ready to leave when parents pick them up too early. I'm also the Director of our Summer Camp Program and the Church nursery ages newborn-7 years old so we are comfortable with all ages. We do treat them as our own. I think that this may be a great fit for our schedule. St. Jude Baptist Church is located at Britton & Western. If you don’t mind dropping them off, we certainly don’t mind having them. We are providing full time care when schools are closed for snow days, winter/spring/fall and summer breaks. The Summer Camp Program is $75 a week per child; our hours of operation are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We help the kids with reading, writing, and math. We take the kids on a field trip one to two times a week, arts & crafts, dress up, lots of games and just fun, fun, fun... Our Before & Aftercare Program is $50-$75 per week/child.
