I started watching a child when I was 16, he is my older sister's child, but It more to spend time with him and take care of him. It was off and on and very inconsistent. I took care of my fiance's sister's child for 9 months while he was a baby. Then took care of him for a few months before his first grade year, and taught him to read. My most recent venture, I have been taking care of an elderly lady who is at an increased fall risk I had to help do almost everything, including light house work ie. Laundry, dishes, ect My step sister owns ranch with all kinds of animals. I am comfortable taking care of cattle, and horses (as long as it does not require me using a motorized vehicle.), chickens and pigs (as long as I don't get chased around the yard Read more by rooster or a particularly mean hen, or chased and bit by an obnoxious pig), ostrich or emu (as long as the ostrich doesn't get any bright ideas), donkeys and Shetland ponys (as long as I am made aware which kick). I am very comfortable with dogs and cats big or small. Once I gain your dog's trust I like to see if he/she has been trained (obedience /leash or harness), and usually offer free obedience training if I am just house sitting with the animal. I have extensive experience with abused and neglected animals and rehabilitation of them (my expertise is mainly in rehabilitation of greyhounds) If animals are involved in my stay I would like it to be written down the schedule for feeding and what each animal gets fed, I also would like to know where their food is located. (what animal, what food, when, where is the food). If you have indoor animal I will need to know their routine as well. If you would like me to housesit (babysit, ect.) for an extended period of time (overnight or longer) I would like a partial payment upfront. Due to the nature of job, and the possibility of needing supplies. If I am required overnight stay, I would like to have my own room (close to that of the children if that is who/what I am taking care of). I would also like a restroom that has a shower and a door that locks. (I will not lock it while I am in the shower in case the children wake up and need me (I take my shower after the children have gone to bed so most of the time I am not needed during that time.), if they do they can come talk to me, and if need be I will get decent.) The door lock would only be used to keep the children out while I am using the restroom. References available upon request.
