My experience over the last 50 years has been very diverse. My work experience started out with babysitting as a teenager. I raised my 3 children as a single parent and worked two jobs most of the time to meet expenses. One of the part-time jobs was for the YMCA in Norman, where I took CPR and child care while working with children in an afterschool program. I also worked part-time with a Kids at Risk program thru the National Guard in Norman for about year and a half. I enjoy working and babysitting with kids. Most of my work experience is in the hospitality industry. I was in hotel management, guest services, bookkeeping and accounting. My certifications are in guest services management, general manager and sales with Hampton Inns and Holiday Inns. I also have a business accounting paraprofessional certification from City College.
