I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to get to know the child or children on a personal level. As opposed to a child care setting which I have experience in, where there are multiple children with one provider and it is hard to give each child the attention they need. I also feel that it may be easier for the child to be at home where they are most comfortable and they may be more open to interaction such as games or puzzles.
