I am a graduate student pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I hope to work with families and children once I graduate and become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have been a volunteer in children’s ministry for more than five years. I currently work as an after school teacher. Some of my favorite things to do with kids are reading, doing arts and crafts, being active, and simply spending quality time together. I’m the oldest of 4 so I naturally I grew up caring for my younger siblings, not to mention little cousins I’ve cared for at family parties. Even now I help care for my husband’s younger brothers from time to time. My first job out of high school was actually as a CYPA (Child Youth Program Assistant) at a military base daycare, so I have experience with caring for up to 12 children at once mostly between the ages of 5-12. Due to my prior experience as a CYPA I am seasoned in creating engaging activities, overseeing mealtime, and helping with down time. I have had hands on training for CPR and First aid and can administer medication if required. I enjoy helping with homework or teaching new skills. With two cats at home I also love pets and can work with both children and animals simultaneously. I have a flexible schedule and am open to early morning and late night availability if need. A few personal things about me is I enjoy Musical theatre, I’m a passionate gamer, I love anime, and I am a huge foodie. I am also a military brat myself and have lived in Germany and South Korea for a solid period of time.

I love kiddos! I am CPR certified and very attentive. I also have special needs experience and am neurodivergent myself! I can tutor kiddos and help with homework. I was previously a swim instructor as well so that is a service I may be willing to provide. I can also do pet sitting since I love animals as well!
