Hello, my name is Kaitlin Duggan and I am currently enrolled at Oklahoma Central University. I am just getting started on my basics with a biology major working towards Medical School. I have previous work experience at a daycare with ages ranging from infants to 5th graders which required me to complete Entry Level Child Care Training (ELCCT) at OU, as well as I am CPR and BLS Certified because I previously worked at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in the IU/CCU as a nursing assistant which required me to take some medical classes. I am wanting to baby sit while I go to college because the 12hr night shifts at the hospital became very heavy to balance with school. My experience with children started when I was around age 10, I was very mature for my age and would baby sit after I got out of class. From there on Read more I became the neighborhood babysitter gaining a lot of experience with kids at a young age. I also have a younger brother named Mason who is a typical boy that loves to be adventures always challenging me to come up with creative things to keep him entertained. I like to play, use creative play, use our imaginations, be active, read, and have fun. I also really enjoy challenging children and adding in educational aspects to everyday play, asking children why and how, and taking their knowledge and understanding one step further. I think every child has such great potential as well as different needs and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know every child as individuals and have their needs met. I really enjoy seeing how their minds work and think there is so much we can learn from them! As a caretaker for your children I believe safety is my number one priority of all.
