Ever since I was a kid myself I knew I wanted to be an influence in peoples lives. This passion has brought me to caring for children and our future. I have worked for many various places over the last 3 years but been with kids non-paid for about 6 years now. I have done various jobs such as: Camp counselor- Ages 4-15 (2 years) Bend Park and Rec. Kids Inc./Days of Play- Ages 4-10 (1 year) Cascade Academy after school program- Ages 4-10 (Just started) Life skills president at Bend high school- Ages 14-18 (3 years) Long distance track coach @ Three Rivers- Ages 10-14 (2 years) A little bit about me: I was born and raised here in Bend, Oregon, and ever since I was old enough I was outside exploring this beautiful town. That passion for nature and children has brought me to my career of wanting Read more to become an elementary experiential educational teacher here in Bend. I love just about anything that has to do with the outdoors and am an avid rock climber, road biker, trail runner, mountaineer, and outdoor enthusiast. I love trying new things, and always strive to improve in whatever I do, currently I have been really focused on my church and helping the youth there. I had the opportunity to take middle school and high school every other Sunday out on a hike to build relationships and community. Certifications: WAFA (Wilderness Advanced First Aid) Food handlers card Scuba diving cert.
