In high school, I fell in love with the idea of working with kids by volunteering at the same Girl Scout camp I attended as a kid. Since then, I've done a couple internships in college and last summer worked for about 3 months at the Parks and Rec summer camp. Now I have moved to the Boys and Girls Club of Bend as an Americorps volunteer where I help children read and tutor them with homework. When I have a spare moment from that, I run educational programs in order to enrich them in other ways. It's always a lot of fun and I would love to bring some of that energy to your own kids!
