A little about my background: I have extensive experience as a full-time, live-in professional nanny for 13 years all over the US and the world, from newborns to toddlers to pre-adolescents. I absolutely loved being a professional nanny, especially to the younger babies and toddlers! I’ve been called a “baby whisperer” from the time I started a babysitters club at 11. It is my pleasure to provide the safest, fun, educational, kind, and gentle experiences for your most prized treasure. I worked as a professional nanny for families in the San Francisco Bay Area (North, South, and Peninsula), Chicago, NJ, CT, and Italy. I've worked for many years in my church's nursery with babies from the time I was in high school and as recently as last year. I also volunteer weekly in the first-grade class at Pine Ridge Elementary with a teacher who won the Presidential Teaching Award two Read more years in a row. I’m passionate about the importance of supporting emotional regulation (not repressing it), recognizing the signs before a more intense situation occurs, and being a safe and supportive person for the most vulnerable — your child. I value structure and allowing for age-appropriate struggle, but safety, connection, and support come first and foremost in my approach to childcare. Everything else comes after. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduated with honors (SummaCumLaude), and an award for neuropsychology research. I am currently looking and applying for grad school in the neuropsych arena so I can work with neurodivergent kiddos in a clinical setting. Raising my 7-year-old son with autism has helped me become more resilient, growth-focused, advocacy-minded, and adaptable in the face of great challenge.
