Hey! I’ve spent over 13 years caring for kids and absolutely love it. I’ve helped raise children of people who started as strangers & are now close family friends—many since birth—and have stayed closely connected with those families as the kids have grown. That personal, long-term involvement has been incredibly meaningful to me and is the same relationship I would wish for my own kiddos when introducing a new face into my home. While I’m no longer actively coaching, I spent over 10 years coaching and that experience really helped me build a strong connection and understanding of how to communicate, encourage, and support kids of all ages. I have a strong medical background (CPR, First Aid, BLS, EMT-P) and currently work part-time at OHSU (Portland) with the OHSU DPS Emergency Communications Center. I bring a calm, capable presence to every family I support. At this juncture in life, I’m prioritizing flexibility and doing something I genuinely enjoy—spending time with kids and supporting families. It helps ease the financial load from falling solely on my husband, but more importantly, allows me to be more present at home with our teenager and do something that comes naturally to me.
