Hello! :) My name is Casi Chairez. In 2013 I graduated from Oregon State University where I completed the Elementary Education double degree program. I loved the Corvallis area so much after graduating that I decided to stay and fortunately found a position teaching Kindergarten kiddos for two years. In 2016 I was excited to start a new adventure where I opened a child care / preschool program in my home I am originally from a very small town of 500 people in Northern California. I had an absolutely amazing childhood and experience living in Fall River Mills, CA for 18 years until I moved to Corvallis to attend Oregon State University for teaching. While living in Fall River I had the chance to really learn the value of hard work and had the amazing opportunity to provide an array of services for many families around the valley throughout my Read more middle school and high school years. Even today when I go back home to visit my family I am constantly contacted from previous families and friends to either house/pet sit, babysit, and tutor. In Fall River I had the opportunity to babysit for 10+ families whenever they needed. Then after graduating from college I nannied for a wonderful family in Philomath with two little boys for a year before teaching Kindergarten. When I started care for this family their boys were a year and a half old and a 5 year old boy who I also did homeschooling with. It has been such a blessing getting to watch them grow the last four years and seeing how far they have come. During my two years of teaching kindergarten I had been fortunate enough to take care of four other families in the Willamette valley after school and on weekends. Many of the families I have cared for the last few years attend my preschool program and all are willing to be references and speak with you if you would like to know more about my child care and teaching abilities. I have cared for dozens of boys and girls ranging from a month old to 13 years old over the last 14 years. I also have been certified in CPR and First Aid for both children and adults. Additionally I have a lot of other trainings and certifications if you would like to know more.
