Hi my name is Katee, I moved to Portland Oregon in October. My whole life I have been involved in childcare. I’m the oldest of 4 kids I have two younger sisters and one brother. I started babysitting by my self at 10… something I am concerned when I reflect on but all that to say I have been loving on the littles in my life for 10+ years now. I am cpr certified and I took the babysitting course at Red Cross. Growing up I volunteered with kids of all abilities (mostly Down syndrome and cerebral palsy). I too have an ADD and dislexia diagnoses so if you have Neurodivergent or any type of special kids we seem to get each other. I also was a recreational and team gymnastics coach for 4 years in Corvallis Oregon. I graduated high school early and was a nanny in New Zealand for a year. I also did childcare in Eugene when I went to University of Oregon before quarantine. I am currently in school at the Portland Fashion Institute and I do a variety of different jobs from an eyelash tech to working at an art gallery. It’s been 2 years since I have done any sort of babysitting but, I just miss it. Even with my other jobs I still have a fairly flexible schedule and I would love to find a family close by that I connect with.
