     I am a very compassionate, patient, and positive person, and truly enjoy caring for kids. I come from a busy household, where I often babysat all five of my younger siblings at once. This experience, combined with my formal nannying and special needs work, has given me a sense of responsibility and maturity that makes me a great caregiver for children of all ages. I earned by Master of Public Health from Boston University in 2015 and have returned home to Corvallis to take additional coursework at OSU for the next 2 years before applying to medical school. I would love to fill my spare time caring for kids. I have many years of experience in babysitting. I was a part-time nanny for three young children (newborn and older) for the same family for four years in Corvallis, OR. During my two years in Boston, I cared for two Read more different families (one family with three young children, the other with two), and can provide references upon request. In addition, I have cared extensively for my five younger siblings, three of whom have special needs. I am familiar and comfortable working with children who have learning disabilities, Autism, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Dyslexia, and other developmental and intellectual needs. Additionally, I have been paid by Oregon's Disability Services to care for my younger sister. I work part-time and am attending school, so I am interested in a babysitting job that is once or twice per week. My work schedule varies (though is always between the hours of 8am - 5pm), and I have some weekends I plan to be away. That being said, a regular weeknight shift is one that would likely work best.
