I am an experienced educator and nanny, with a masters in teaching (biology) and 8 years of experience as a nanny, outdoor educator, and camp counselor. I love working with kids of all ages, and have been a nanny for children between 4 months and 12 years of age. I have personal love for the outdoors and sciences and if the kids I care for have a mutual interest I love to share this with them by exploring outside together, going to museums, reading books, or doing experiments. Because of my Masters in teaching I can also assist with homework on a variety of of topics, my favorites are science, reading, writing, and literature, and I can help with math and history as well. With young children I love to sing them songs, and dance around the house, read books in silly voices, and spend time outside on walks, or Read more in the yard or park. I would love to share my playful and imaginative side with your children, as well as make sure they are content, well fed, and entertained when they are with me. My goal is to make their time with me something they look forward to, and for you to come home to happy healthy household! This includes cleaning up after our messes, cooking meals (I love to cook!), pick ups and drop offs, play dates, homework help, and day trips, as part of my services. I am not currently CPR Certified, but I have been continuously certified since the age of 15 and feel very confident in first aid and child/adult CPR. A little bit about me personally! I'm originally from California, but have lived all over the Portland Area for the past 4 years. Now my Wife and I live on a small farm in Dallas, where we raise ducks for eggs, and pigeons and a few sheep for meat. We also have a large garden and love to get outside as much as time allows us for hiking, kayaking, and bird watching. I'm an open book so please feel free to ask me anything!
