Hi, my name is Abby and I’m a mother of 3 girls ages 17, 14, and 9! I started babysitting when I was 13, then worked at the YMCA in the childcare department at the age of 16 throughout high school. When I graduated, I attended college in Hawaii and worked for a nanny service babysitting for tourist visiting and some local families, so I have had plenty experience and I love working with kids of all ages! I have a passion for arts and crafts and being creative. I love going for walks and playing at the park. I work in the dentistry field and for the 4J school district, but have a plenty of availability. Please reach out with any questions! :)

My name is Ella DeFrance, and I am 23 years old and just moved to Eugene from Montana. I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in English and a Dance Certificate from the University of Montana in Missoula. I have been babysitting since I was a teenager, so I have years of experience with multiple ages. For the past 3 years I have been babysitting for the same family of 2 girls. My responsibilities include picking them up from school, making dinner and snacks, and getting them ready for bed. However, because I am moving to Eugene I am looking for a new family to babysit. I have also been a volunteer for the past 2 years through Big Brother Big Sister, and have made a strong relationship with my little who is a 3rd grader. I also have experience working as a substitute in the school districts, and have substituted for the Special Ed classrooms. I love to dance, read, play guitar, paint and hike! I also love animals, and speak spanish.

I had a great experience working with Ella! She watched my two kids, ages 2 and 5. She was very punctual and communicative. She engaged the kids in age appropriate activities and they had a great time. I hope to be able to hire her again!

I'm just finishing up my first year of college and looking for a job over the summer. I grew up in a big family and helped take care of children since I was young. Through middle school and highschool family friends paid me to watch their children. I enjoy taking care of kids and getting to embrace my inner child while caring for them. I can also help with homework, coming for them and meal prepping for dinner, taking care of a pet, and cleaning the house as needed as well. Feel free to call me!

KC is amazing with children! This was my first time using a sitter for my 2 kids and I felt at ease putting them under their care. I will definitely keep using KC for the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs a babysitter.

Hello! My name is Charlotte! I got my degree in baking and pastry from Lane Community College. I'm fun, energetic, responsible and love to laugh! I've worked as a camp counselor as well as a teacher through the City of Eugene Community Center for about 3 years. I've been babysitting since I was about 12 years old for various families and have always enjoyed helping children learn and grow, and of course let their imaginations flow at the same time :) I also have experience with online curriculum. I was homeschooled with my mom as my teacher until I was 11, and can navigate the at home learning process fairly well!

Hi! I’m a senior at the University of Oregon studying Psychology and Spanish. I’m originally from Portland and have several years of nannying, babysitting, and childcare experience in licensed childcare facilities in both Portland and Eugene. I’m also currently working at an after-school program at an elementary school, where I work with children from kindergarten through 5th grade. I’ve worked with children ranging from infants through elementary school age, and I truly have a passion for working with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. I’m caring, patient, responsible, and love creative with activities, whether that’s arts and crafts, games, outdoor adventures, or simply finding fun ways to keep kids engaged. Outside of work and school, I love traveling, hiking, and spending time in nature, so I’m always happy to incorporate outdoor activities and exploration when appropriate. I really enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality and creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for them. I also value building trusting relationships with parents and making sure they feel confident and comfortable while their children are in my care.

Hi! I’m Audrey (24) and I have 9yrs of experience and have worked with dozens of families, with ages ranging from 6mo-15yrs. I am very reliable, punctual, and have flexibility in my schedule. I would love to help work around your schedules/needs. I would be able to interview and start immediately! I enjoy arts & crafts, imaginative play, and encouraging outgoing connections while meeting each child where they’re at! I took 14 years of French and am willing to help with any school work. I used to be a swimmer, swim instructor, and lifeguard so I'm happy to take your little ones to the pool (or on any adventure)! In addition, I like cleaning, professional organizing and am a good planner. I am confident in my ability to problem solve, keep things fun, and most importantly safe! I am comfortable taking your kiddos out to kid friendly activities around town, or finding and creating engaging activities at home. (I am CPR/First Aid certified and have my own car with a clean driving record, don't smoke, fully vaccinated and am comfortable with pets). Thank you for your consideration!

35+ years of hands-on childcare experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-age. A lifetime of nurturing children as a mom of three, proud grandma, and caregiver who truly treats every child like family. Early childhood education experience, including helping establish a preschool and creating fun, engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences. Dependable, patient, and trustworthy. Families can count on me to provide a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children can thrive. I genuinely love what I do. Building meaningful relationships with children and their families is my passion, and nothing brings me more joy than helping little ones learn, laugh, and grow with confidence.

Hi there!! Working with kids is my passion! Right now I am currently going to school to hopefully become a child psychologist. I have worked with 100’s of children and I still can’t pick a favorite age. I love the silliness of exploring a new world with a preschooler, but I also love the bonds you build once they get older! I come from a classroom setting so I’m used to caring for multiple kiddos at once, but I’m really looking forward for the chance to connect more one on one! I got my start in child care four years ago, working at the City of Eugene summer camps, going into my senior year of high school. I worked four summers (2022-2025) in the middle school outdoor exploration camp and filled in for the elementary camps when needed. I spent a few school years (2022-2024) working their elementary afterschool care program as well! I did lots of planning activities for all of these programs, and the final summer of the middle school camp I was the lead for; meaning I planned most of that camp. In 2023 I graduated high school and moved out. I continued working part time in the afterschool program, at the same time learning what it’s like to be an adult. At the end of 2024 I started a full time job at the Head Start of Lane County as a preschool teacher. I worked there till the end of the 25/26 school year. I was a teacher who carried a “caseload”, so I was assigned a few families in my classroom to help specifically assist with things like housing needs, getting extra food, transportation, ect. I love working with kids and families, and the only reason I left this job is because I know for sure now that I want to go to school to work with children. A full time job is not feasible while going to school, but I don’t want to stop working with kids! A family that can work around a college schedule would be perfect. I have a 16hr part time job right now, but my hours are very flexible. If it felt right I would consider not working that job to spend more time babysitting. Through these jobs I have obtained my CPR certification, first aide certification, food handlers card, and am approved by the CBR or central background registry; which you need this to work in any licensed child care facility in Oregon. Thank you for your consideration! ☀️
