My name is Ella DeFrance, and I am 23 years old and just moved to Eugene from Montana. I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in English and a Dance Certificate from the University of Montana in Missoula. I have been babysitting since I was a teenager, so I have years of experience with multiple ages. For the past 3 years I have been babysitting for the same family of 2 girls. My responsibilities include picking them up from school, making dinner and snacks, and getting them ready for bed. However, because I am moving to Eugene I am looking for a new family to babysit. I have also been a volunteer for the past 2 years through Big Brother Big Sister, and have made a strong relationship with my little who is a 3rd grader. I also have experience working as a substitute in the school districts, and have substituted for the Special Ed classrooms. I love to dance, read, play guitar, paint and hike! I also love animals, and speak spanish.

I had a great experience working with Ella! She watched my two kids, ages 2 and 5. She was very punctual and communicative. She engaged the kids in age appropriate activities and they had a great time. I hope to be able to hire her again!

Hi, my name is Abby and I’m a mother of 3 girls ages 17, 14, and 9! I started babysitting when I was 13, then worked at the YMCA in the childcare department at the age of 16 throughout high school. When I graduated, I attended college in Hawaii and worked for a nanny service babysitting for tourist visiting and some local families, so I have had plenty experience and I love working with kids of all ages! I have a passion for arts and crafts and being creative. I love going for walks and playing at the park. I work in the dentistry field and for the 4J school district, but have a plenty of availability. Please reach out with any questions! :)

Hello! My name is Charlotte! I got my degree in baking and pastry from Lane Community College. I'm fun, energetic, responsible and love to laugh! I've worked as a camp counselor as well as a teacher through the City of Eugene Community Center for about 3 years. I've been babysitting since I was about 12 years old for various families and have always enjoyed helping children learn and grow, and of course let their imaginations flow at the same time :) I also have experience with online curriculum. I was homeschooled with my mom as my teacher until I was 11, and can navigate the at home learning process fairly well!

I'm just finishing up my first year of college and looking for a job over the summer. I grew up in a big family and helped take care of children since I was young. Through middle school and highschool family friends paid me to watch their children. I enjoy taking care of kids and getting to embrace my inner child while caring for them. I can also help with homework, coming for them and meal prepping for dinner, taking care of a pet, and cleaning the house as needed as well. Feel free to call me!

KC is amazing with children! This was my first time using a sitter for my 2 kids and I felt at ease putting them under their care. I will definitely keep using KC for the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs a babysitter.

Hi everyone! My name is Aliyah, I'm 27 years old and I am a graduate from LCC. I earned my Associate degree in Early Childhood Education! I have a passion for working with kids and helping them grow, and I'm hoping I can find more opportunities for me to work with kids. I was previously an Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist with children, which meant I would provide therapy for children on the Autism spectrum with day to day behavioral and social delays. Working for CARD, I learned so much about my love for working with kids, and how exciting their development is. Previously, I worked as a nanny for a 16 month old girl, a 2 year old boy, and a 6 year old girl! I have over 5 years of experience. I would love to meet some more kiddo's and share what I have learned. In my free time I love to go hiking - Oregon's tree's will forever have my heart; as well as bicycling, especially alongside the Willamette River! I am also someone that enjoys writing quite a bit, and I spend as much time writing as I can! Lastly, I am a HUGE animal lover, so if you have animals it's a plus for me! Working with families with animals of any kind is a huge plus in my eyes, but not a necessity. I myself have a few cats and a dog! I have open availability and I am open to any sort of childcare, nanny or otherwise. The families I worked for previously have me clean and take care of their animals as well, and I consider these things a plus! :) I enjoy cleaning and organizing, so it would never be a problem! I have my own reliable vehicle, a clean driving record, and insurance as well - so please reach out to me if you want to know more about me or anything of the sort! :)

I am a part-time nanny seeking additional opportunities to work with children. I have experience working with newborn-elementary age children, and have taken college coursework studying child development as well. Some of my favorite experiences have been teaching in a preschool, assisting a kindergarten class, and my current long term placement with a toddler and 9-month-old! I LOVE to have fun, be silly, and laugh, and I have the real-world and educational experience to handle difficult situations and reinforce boundaries when necessary.

Hi there!! Working with kids is my passion! Right now I am currently going to school to hopefully become a child psychologist. I have worked with 100’s of children and I still can’t pick a favorite age. I love the silliness of exploring a new world with a preschooler, but I also love the bonds you build once they get older! I come from a classroom setting so I’m used to caring for multiple kiddos at once, but I’m really looking forward for the chance to connect more one on one! I got my start in child care four years ago, working at the City of Eugene summer camps, going into my senior year of high school. I worked four summers (2022-2025) in the middle school outdoor exploration camp and filled in for the elementary camps when needed. I spent a few school years (2022-2024) working their elementary afterschool care program as well! I did lots of planning activities for all of these programs, and the final summer of the middle school camp I was the lead for; meaning I planned most of that camp. In 2023 I graduated high school and moved out. I continued working part time in the afterschool program, at the same time learning what it’s like to be an adult. At the end of 2024 I started a full time job at the Head Start of Lane County as a preschool teacher. I worked there till the end of the 25/26 school year. I was a teacher who carried a “caseload”, so I was assigned a few families in my classroom to help specifically assist with things like housing needs, getting extra food, transportation, ect. I love working with kids and families, and the only reason I left this job is because I know for sure now that I want to go to school to work with children. A full time job is not feasible while going to school, but I don’t want to stop working with kids! A family that can work around a college schedule would be perfect. I have a 16hr part time job right now, but my hours are very flexible. If it felt right I would consider not working that job to spend more time babysitting. Through these jobs I have obtained my CPR certification, first aide certification, food handlers card, and am approved by the CBR or central background registry; which you need this to work in any licensed child care facility in Oregon. Thank you for your consideration! ☀️
