Need a date night, a self care day or need to run some errands alone? Hi! I’m Gideon (they/them)! I'm looking to make some extra cash during the evenings/ weekends. I'm currently a DSP, and I am going back to school to get my degree in education. The previous eight years I spent working in Montessori schools. More about my experience: I have experience with ages 6 months-12 years. Currently my favorite age group is lower el. I've professionally been working with kids since 2018, but growing up I was the family/neighborhood babysitter! I'm trained in CPR and first aid (including babies), a Montessori assistant, positive discipline, de-escalation, suicide prevention, and much more especially with on the job learning. I've worked in childcare, a classroom, as a full time nanny, a tutor and a lead summer camp director. About me personally: I love to read, create art, play board/ card Read more games, go bowling and spending time with my loved ones. I'm vaccinated with all the boosters. I'm open minded, patient, and really enjoy working with kids. I think they're funny, complex human beings who I genuinely learn a lot from. Bonus points if you want me to take your kiddo(s) bowling, mini golfing, or to the public library!
