Hi! My name is Laura and I just graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Rhetoric and Writing. I am starting graduate school at the University of Oregon this Fall. I loved my time in Austin, but am excited about my new adventure in Eugene. As my studies may suggest, I want to be a speech-language pathologist. I have had extensive therapy experience working with adults, but I've also had much experience working with children. I've been a sporadic babysitter since I was a freshman in high school. During my last semester at UT, I supplemented my on-campus job with babysitting in preparation for graduate school. I've babysat for families with children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years. I am certified in HeartSaver CPR/AED and First Aid for adults and infants.
