My name is Cami and I'm a creative, gentle soul. I'm 25 years old and my hobbies include costume design, sculpture, screen printing and roller derby. I've cared for children for a long time and I thoroughly enjoy it. As far as my experience goes, I was an Au pair for two different families. The first was a diplomat family in Croatia where I cared for their two daughters, ages 2 and 3. The second was a family in the south of France where I cared for 10-year-old twin boys. Before I left to go abroad I cared for two sets of twins for a year while I was going to school. The first set of fraternal twins were 5 and the second set of fraternal twins were 8. Both of the parents were rabbis so I am used to keeping a kosher kitchen if that's a need. My senior Read more year of high school I volunteered at a Crisis Nursery, a center where parents who felt overwhelmed could drop off their child or children and receive quality babysitting for up to 72 hours. I am used to doing light cleaning and meal prep. I can also drive children to activities if that is a need. If you're looking for someone who has lots of energy and is more type A personality, I probably won't be the caregiver for you. I'm very laid back, but I do have a wacky side that comes out from time to time. I am someone who consistently follows through with instructions and is good with time management. Currently, I care for two kids, ages 7 and 10, Wednesday- Friday. I'm also studying costume construction and play roller derby the Beaverton Air Raid Roller Girls. I love traveling and try to go overseas at least every other year. In my spare time, I try to be outdoors as much as I can. I enjoy hiking, trail skating, and yoga. I would also be more than willing to provide past references of families I've worked for.
