I am the oldest child in my family, so babysitting became a natural thing to do early on in my life. And over the years of my adult life I was always the trusted friend helping to take care my friends' children. I am one of the most patient, caring, and understanding persons most people will ever meet. I don't get angry very easily, and when I do, I don't take it out on others. I love the wonderful creative and silly things children think of. I believe that when children have positive responsible adults in their lives it helps with coping with less desirable time of life.

I started caring for children by babysitting at age 14. That continued on over the years into teaching swim lessons, leading YMCA programs, nannying, and working in other licensed child care programs. I have experience with children a few months to 11 years old. I have also earned 9 credits in Early Childhood Education. In child care, I strive to foster growth, fun, and caring connection. Most importantly: safety first. Then, we can explore, create, and learn!

I am CPR certified and have completed First Aid training. I have experience working with children and worked in childcare facilities. I took Early Childhood Education as an elective in high school and got my ECPC and XDA certifications.
