Hello! My name is Annie and I am an 18 year old college student attending Southern Oregon University for a psychology degree in hopes to help diagnose children when I graduate. I also minor in ASL and am confident I can communicate with a child in sign. I have most experience with children with learning disabilities as I helped my mom teach K-6th graders with special needs since I was around 10 years old, however I would happily sit a child regardless of their abilities. I was not paid for those hours spent but I have been paid for watching family friend’s children along with child relatives. I also participate in the Klamath Falls S.M.A.R.T. reading every year, where I get to read to children, usually between 4-10 years old. This is not my only job, I also work at a coffee shop part time and I am known to Read more be the person for my coworkers to go to if they need to drop their kids off momentarily! I love children as I am in progress of making it my career! A few things I would happily do if you are wanting, include: grabbing activities from the store for the kids to engage in considering that it will be an easy clean up, cooking breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, lightly picking up the living space, helping with any homework they might have, and watching a pet while I watch your child as well!
