I graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 2012 with my bachelors in Social Welfare and minor in Psychology. When I was a teenager I babysat for family friends every summer and during school hours when I was available. Recently I was a caregiver at Rise Inc here in La Grande for 2 years. I was a Lead Staff for the caregivers and worked 3 different programs inside Rise. I am CPR/ First Aid certified and it doesn't expire until August next year. My boyfriend has 3 kids (13, 10, and 2) and they are here quite a bit. While I was in college I did a couple months of volunteer work for my practicum with children 5-11 years old who have emotional disturbances. In college I volunteered with the Gay Straight Alliance, Student Advocates for Gender Equity, and Eastern Student Entertainment. I have my own reliable form of transportation and Read more enjoy going out into the community just to walk downtown/watch movies/or go to the park. Working as a Caregiver I had to come up with different ideas every day to keep my clients interested in going outside.
