I began teaching in 1990. I presently work for Southern Oregon Education Service District as a teacher for grades Kindergarten through 6th. I was also a Special Education teacher in Glendale, CA and taught Kindergarten and English in Guatemala and Costa Rica when I served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer In addition I was California State Polytechnic University Pomona's Agricultural Field Day Chairperson for two years working with Future Farmers of America and organized the annual South Coast Regional FFA competition. I get along with children because at all times I try to relate to whatever is happening from their perspective. Additionally, I was a volunteer for Youth for Understanding, which is an international agency working with international student exchanges for schools.
