Hi! I am a reliable, patient, bubbly, caring, helpful, supportive, and creative person with approximately 10 years of experience caring for children, ranging from infants to teenagers. I have two children of my own: a 3-year-old daughter and a baby boy (infant). I would like to bring my little ones with me while I provide care for your child or children. Sometimes my oldest can stay with her grandmother but my infant would be with me since he is breastfed. I have experience working with groups of 4 or more children, including infants and preschoolers. I've also worked in after-school programs, where I supervised larger groups of children. With me, your children will receive appropriate care, have someone to play with, and learn new things. I can create daily schedules and curriculums that include learning activities in Spanish and sign language, helping to prepare them for school. I used to Read more work for a daycare facility for 2 years, we would do arts and crafts, reading, singing, and learning. We would use a curriculum and have different topics for each week. We would read a book, sing songs about the topic or to learn the ABC’s, days of the week and months of the year. The kiddos would learn a new word in Spanish and sign language. Also, colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. At the very end I would set up an art station to make with the kiddos. I would do certain artwork that works best for each child or group of children. But I always loved to see the younger ones do art in their own ways. Lastly, I am a step 8 in My ORO with yearly training. With my skills and experience, I can provide a supervised, safe, and stable learning environment. If needed, I am willing to take in additional tasks.
