I have been a teacher in the toddler/infant program for 3 years at Phoenix Children's Academy in Sherwood. I prefer working with toddlers and infants and love having a dog in the household. I enjoy doing activities with children; playing, reading, art projects, going for walks and playing outside. I am actively enrolled in the Central Background Registry and am First Aid CPR AED certified. I practice positive reinforcement techniques with patience and TLC. I keep in touch with parents thru daily texts and photos including daily activity reports. I am a certified dog trainer and have volunteered at Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals. Also, as the owner of a certified service animal who is trained to work with children and the elderly, we visit care homes and hospitals giving encouragement and comfort to those in need. I am available to start a position on August 5th.
