I also have experience as a homeschool tutor and a homeschool enrichment physical education instructor. I worked at a daycare that cared for infants as young as 2 months to children up to the age of 8. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities such as taking kids to the park as well as doing arts and crafts. My most recent job was as a full time nanny to one year old twins and their 7 and 8 year old siblings. That job involved cleaning, light chores and cooking nutritious meals. I’ve also nannied for multiple overnight stays including school pickups and drop offs. I have taken some nursing and nutrition courses and am First Aid and CPR certified. Hello! A little about myself I am a new mother myself of a 3 month old sweet and mellow babygirl that I am hopeful in bringing along with me. If you know you know children can love babies! Through both my long time personal and professional work experiences I feel I have been able to greatly grow my communication skills, listening skills, and creativity, which I know are all important to have when working with children always. I used to work for a daycare facility for 2 years, we would do arts and crafts, reading, singing, and learning. We would use a curriculum and have different topics for each week. We would read a book, sing songs about the topic or to learn the ABC’s, days of the week and months of the year. The kiddos would learn a new word in Spanish and sign language. Also, colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. At the very end I would set up an art station to make with the kiddos. I would do certain artwork that works best for each child or group of children. But I always loved to see the younger ones do art in their own ways. Lastly, I am a step 8 in My ORO with yearly training. With my skills and experience, I can provide a supervised, safe, and stable learning environment. If needed, I am willing to take in additional tasks.
