My name is Megan M and I absolutely love working with kids! I have a huge passion for them and they are such a joy to be around. I am a responsible and energetic 19 year old who has had lots of experience with kids of all ages. I worked in my church's infant nursery for 2.5 years and loved every second of playing with the kids, in addition to feeding, changing and comforting them while their parents were at service. Next, I worked at an elementary school as an after-school activities teacher during the 2013-2014 school year. In this position I was in charge of leading robotics, art (painting/drawing), and writing classes for elementary school aged children. This position gave me the opportunity to work with kids in small group settings while keeping them focused on a task while making it a fun learning experience! In summer 2014 I Read more worked as a camp counselor for children age 7-8. In this position I was able to work with large groups and create activities for the campers do throughout the day in stations. I was also in charge of leading groups of 10 on off-site field trips. In addition I was responsible for small scale behavior management as well as how to cater to individual campers and keep them engaged and productive in the day camp setting. After working with a diverse range of ages, I can say that I am very comfortable with any age group and am excited to work with your family!
