Hi! I am a 26 year old transplant to SW Portland from the Bay Area with a passion for working with children and being outdoors. For the past few years, I have been working as a Wildlife Biologist, mostly focusing on bird conservation. Prior to college I worked as a swim lesson instructor for 5 years (I was on swim team for 18 years), and taught lessons to all ages, 0-adult. Since moving here, I have been dreaming of giving back to my local community and working with children, and would love the opportunity to nanny and/or provide swimming and natural history lessons to your children! I have continuously renewed my First Aide and CPR certification since 2004 and enjoy sewing, yoga, hiking, swimming, and trick hula hooping. I am able to provide tutoring to children in all subjects -- particularly: math, science, and writing.
