Hello, my name is Allie and I’m 21 years old. I fell in love with working with children after my first babysitting job when I was 14. When I was 17 I got the opportunity to work at a Montessori preschool. I would get out of school at 2:30 and work about 4 hours with the afternoon kids. After graduating highschool, I had already fallen too in love with the job to quit. So.. I stayed around for about 5 more years and somewhere in there I became full time as a teachers assistant. In my free time I would always be babysitting, usually nights. Through the preschool families, I was lucky enough to have had two different live-in nanny positions. I am CPR/first aid certified, have my food handlers card, am registered on the Central Background Registry, have earned multiple class certificates in early childhood education (ex: behaviors in Read more and outside of the classroom, examination of child development birth to five, encouraging hope in children, empowered play: learning through exploration, etc.) and most importantly I am PASSIONATE about children and making the lives of parents easier.
