Hello! My name is Marley and I had the pleasure of moving to Portland this last August. Largely, my intention for moving was to gain my degree. Although I still wish to pursue this in the next few years, I plan to take the next six months (until June 2017) to mainly work and allow flexibility with my savings. With that being said, I plan to continue my passion for kids forever, and without much family or friends here, I would love to give my time toward making a positive impact on helping to make sure your child is happy, comfortable, smiling, and always growing. I aspire to be a very positive and happy person with a flexible schedule and extreme passion for young ones. I recently graduated high school and now have 2 and a half years of childcare under my belt, which benefited my life in so many Read more ways, but also gave me the opportunity to realize that it is my passion. I watch newborn-14 year olds and up, also while managing multiple (up to a classroom) kids by myself at one time. I love getting outdoors, writing, cooking, hiking, and playing music! I've taught piano lessons to some of the children I nanny for as well, and am available to teach them guitar basics if either of these are something you would like to integrate into your child's hobbies :) I have babysat since I was 12, but it wasn't until 2014 that I started to professionally work as a preschool teacher, while maintaining to babysit/nanny for multiple families. I have cared for over 20 families with children in my community and hope to grow this throughout my life. I am passionate about nurturing the growth and needs of children, and making sure kids and parents are always happy and satisfied is truly my duty. I try to uplift everyone around me, those who meet me know I'm a very optimistic and happy person. I believe I will be an asset to you and your children's lives.
