Hello there! My name is Bryanne, you can call me Bry (Bree) if you'd like! I'm 27. Originally from California (LA area) but overjoyed to be living in NW Portland! I've been a happy little transplant here for the last 9 years. Since the big move up here, I truly believe Portland is where I've belonged all along! I grew up in a very loving and caring household as a middle child. this has absolutely helped to mold my care-giving work ethic and altogether approach. I am a graduate from Concordia University (class of 2015) here I studied musicology and performance. I have a deep love for all things dealing in the arts: music, dance, reading painting and cooking that I love to incorporate into my care-giving style! I'm a very positive and enthusiastic person who strives to be consistent, hardworking and happy. I've worked in childcare on a professional Read more level for the last 10 years. It started with babysitting neighborhood children or helping with my own siblings an cousins growing up. During my time in college, I was a nanny for a fellow classmate watching her children so she could attend classes. In all of the summers, except for one, between University, I lived with my older sister in KS and worked as her teaching assistant for her 1st grade summer school classes. The exception summer, I was the classroom lead at the local Boys & Girls Club where I watched and managed and lesson planned for a class of 28 kindergarten soon-to-be first graders. Since graduating, I have been working as a nanny full or part time. My longest running consistent nanny position has been with a family here in PDX. I've been along for the ride helping him learn and grow since he was 3 months old. 2016-2020. Along the way, I've picked various other independent nanny jobs here in Portland with infants, toddlers, young children, and even twins! CPR & Firstaid certified   It's been an incredible learning experience being able to work with so many different families. I've been able to learn and grow so much! My goal as a nanny is to ensure your children feel safe, loved, and listened to in every situation, at every stage. I want to lend a hand in the development and growth of this next generation. I believe creativity and active play are very important to the development of children. Along with childcare, I have no problems cooking healthy meals for your family, light housework, homework help, or tending to pets!
