Hello. I am available Weekdays M-F, 7:30 am (ish) to 4:30 pm (ish), daily; hours are negotiable. I am requesting 40 hours per week. I am a healthy, reliable, trustworthy, conscientious and energetic person, who enjoys Children. I have been a Preschool Assistant Teacher for 6+ years; 5 of those years as a Montessori Assistant Teacher. I have been a Nanny for a Family in Berkeley, CA when I lived there. I believe children thrive when they feel cared for by interested, interacting and nurturing adults who can help them learn self respect and encourage them to be all that they are. Children need structure (routine) and to feel they can trust their caregivers. Learning can be fun, and a personal goal is to model the joy of learning for Children. I am healthy and in good physical shape, being active daily. I practice a sustainable way of life and have a healthy diet. I believe that old and young have much to learn from one another.
