Hi, my names Talia and I'm 19 years old. I have worked in Childcare and at Subway and Childcare is by far the more fun job and what I’d like to continue doing. To start off summer of 2019 I worked as a Junior Counselor for three weeks at an overnight performing arts camp. I attended a week of training before the camp began on conflict resolution, interrupting bigotry, inclusion, community building, and general care taking. At that same overnight camp and two separate day camps I have taught crafts, science projects, theater, dance, and gymnastics. I encouraged students to strive for greatness through practice creating priceless moments of skill, strength, and success. As an instructor I have performed jobs like passing out snacks and cleaning up and resolving conflicts. I have been “babysitting” for three years now.
