I’ve been babysitting for over three years now, both doing date nights and temporary work for families and being a long term nanny for a couple! One of the things I enjoy most about babysitting are being able to create positive experiences for children, I feel like it’s very important to understand positive reinforcement and encouragement are necessary for children. For my most recent long term nannying job, I was watching a 7 year old autistic boy, because of this I feel I have developed an even better understanding and patience for situations that may arise.
