Hi there! My name is Emily and I just moved to Portland to get married and be closer to family and friends. I'm hoping to connect with families searching for a babysitter as I settle into my new life here. I Spent the last four years as a teacher at one of Hollywood’s most prestigious early childhood education institutions while balancing the workload of a full-time student. In my work I was Lead Pre-K Teacher at Temple Israel of Hollywood’s respected Early Childhood Education Center. I oversaw a classroom of 16 students developing and leading a curriculum to prepare each individual student for kindergarten inclusive of social/emotional skills, writing, math, science, reading, charitable giving projects, and art. While at the ECC I also lead two popular enrichments; -A Saturday morning Parent and Me class, designed to create a community of new families interested in Jewish education in Los Angeles, and Read more introduce them to the school -A cooking class to inspire young students to improve their relationship with food. While living in Los Angeles I also babysat for several families that I adored! Hoping to make new connections here as I'm very comfortable supporting children and their families with a variety of needs. Thank you!
