Hello! My name is Courtney and I’m a recent graduate from Southridge High School. I’ve worked with kids for about 3 years. At first, I primarily babysat when I was 16 and 17. Last year, I worked as a summer camp counselor at THPRD. I spent nearly every day of my summer with 40 first and second graders. It was a blast! Currently, I work as an after school care leader at THPRD with kids ages 7-9. On Wednesday’s I also teach volleyball classes to kids ages 7-14. Earlier this year, I also peer mentored for a second grade class at Hiteon elementary school. I miss that class every day! I’d describe my personality as caring, organized, and creative! My skills include organization, creativity, and problem-solving. My brain is full of fun ideas, activities, and games! I’m very empathetic and observant. At the end of every day, I strive to leave with a big smile on my face and lots of new memories.
