Hi! My name is Calla and I'm a 21 year-old college student at Georgetown University. I love children and have lots of experience in childcare and education. I spent the last summer working as a full time preschool teacher in DC, where I was responsible for taking care of the children's needs for a class of 15 4 year-olds. I have also worked with preschool to high school age students as a tutor/mentor for around 4-6 hours/week nearly every semester of college. I have had significant training in early childhood education, literacy building, and social-emotional learning through AmeriCorps. I am CPR-certified, have passed a background check and am cleared to work in DC Public Schools, and have completed multiple Protection of Minors trainings. I am responsible, reliable, and will come prepared with educational and FUN activities to keep your children happy and occupied :).
