Hello! My name is Kay; thanks so much for your time! I earned my MA in Teaching in 2017, primarily focusing on Language Arts/English in late elementary to middle school. I took courses in child development. Since earning my degree, I spent a long time working with animals, and am glad to be back in the business of working with kids. I recently finished a temporary post working with 1 year olds and preschoolers. Parents of children I have worked with report that I am described at home as a whole hill of fun. I believe in two rules: safe and kind, to both bodies and feelings; these words are the basis of my teaching and childcare philosophy. I am CPR and first aid certified and registered as TA2 with Oregon’s Department of Early Learning and Care. Due to my work with dogs, I’m also exceptionally comfortable with pets!
