I grew up in Alaska and have been babysitting since I was 13 on an intentional community homestead of four large familes which equaled to about 50 people. My famiie was the biggest and since I was the third oldest of thirteen, I helped raise my siblings to the point where I felt like I was their adopted parent :) In the comminty, I took care of all different ages from toddler and up. Our community was pretty laid so it was always really fun helping them with things such as: dress and baith them, cook snacks or meals for them, suited them up to play out side, make sure they eat all their food, read to them, do out doors stuff like gardening or getting the to help biuld various projects, and take them on field trips to the zoo etc.
