Hello! My name is Kim and I have been working with kids for the past 10+ years. I've babysat family members' children when I was younger and gained a lot of basic skills from that experience. When I was a college student, I got a job as a montessori school teacher and I worked there for about three years. I worked with infants, "wobblers" (6 mo - 1.5 yrs), toddlers, and preschool children. After I resigned from the montessori school, a few of the parents asked for my contact information to have me babysit their children when they'd like a night/day out. Some of my favorite activities that I like to do with the kids when I'm babysitting are: read, arts and crafts, sing, build blocks, play pretend, learn a new language, etc. I genuinely do love being around kids because they do bring that child-like emotion out in me Read more and that allow me to connect with them in a more trusting way. I believe that it's important to be active, respectful, and honest with the kids and the parents that I am working with.
