Hi there! I’ve been working with kids of all ages (literally, all ages, newborn to 21!) for the past 5 years! While in college (in Pennsylvania!), I worked at a YMCA in every single childcare department (school age, child watch, and tumbling) for about 2 years. I left to do an internship at a youth residential program working with teenagers who had either a history with the justice system or mental health illnesses that needed more direct supervision. I began working there after my internship for about another 6 months. I was then offered a job all the way here in The Dalles at NORCOR juvenile as the case manager and program coordinator primarily working with teen males from 14-17.
